Who we are
This website is run by 77Marketing (“77Marketing”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described here. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us:
- Email: info@77marketing.co.uk
- Phone / WhatsApp: +44 7780 118402
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address and the message you write. Sending the form emails these to us; nothing is stored on the website itself.
- Email, WhatsApp and Instagram messages. Whatever you choose to send us, plus your email address, phone number or username.
- Technical data. Like every website, our host's servers record basic request details (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Client work. If you become a client, the contact, billing and project details we need to do the work and invoice for it.
We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or social media plugins on this site. See our Cookie Policy for the one item we store in your browser.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR Article 6) |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and discussing a project | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us |
| Delivering and invoicing work for clients | Performance of a contract |
| Keeping business and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Running the website and protecting it from abuse | Legitimate interests |
| Optional cookies, if we ever add any | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
We will not use your details for marketing emails unless you've asked us to, and we never sell personal data.
Who we share it with
- IONOS, our website and email host, which processes data on our behalf on servers in the UK or the European Economic Area.
- Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram), if you choose to contact us there. Their own privacy policies apply, and they may process data outside the UK.
- Our accountant or other professional advisers, where needed.
- Police, regulators or courts, only where the law requires it.
Where data leaves the UK, it's protected by UK adequacy regulations or by the safeguards the provider uses, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Client records and invoices: 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires.
- Server logs: a short period set by our host, for security.
People in our photos and videos
Our portfolio shows photos and videos from client shoots, published with the client's permission. If you appear in one and want it taken down, email info@77marketing.co.uk and we'll remove it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (and the EU GDPR, where it applies) you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong or incomplete
- delete your data
- restrict how we use it, or object to us using it
- send your data to you or another organisation in a portable format
- withdraw consent you've given, at any time
Email info@77marketing.co.uk. It's free, and we'll reply within one month. We may need to confirm who you are first.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113. If you're in Cyprus or elsewhere in the EU, the EU GDPR also protects you, and you can complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy) or your local data protection authority.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
